In this President’s message, I would like to recognize some members and on behalf of the association thank them for their generous gifts of their time and talent.

Bill Slavik, participated in the Will County Road Impact Fee Advisory Committee, which met for over two years!  Bill has also been a part of every committee concerning the merger of Will-Grundy withSouthwest Suburban Home Builders Association. 

Tom Bartlett, Our Chairman of our Government Affairs Committees was also a part of the Road Impact Fee Committee.  He is our Associations representative at countless meetings with the County of Will regarding both the Road Impact Fee and proposed Subdivision Ordinance Changes.

John Latimer, Our Past President, was also on the advisory committee and appeared with Tom before numerous Will County meetings.

John Knoelk created our great Will Grundy Home Builders & Associates website.   John has put in a huge effort as the force behind our merger with Southwest Suburban Home Builders.

Don Shewmake, joined our association and really got involved on numerous committees.  For our membership committee, he put together a great brochure to give to prospective members.  His company, The Pantheos Group has also held seminars and learning luncheons for our association.

    Andi Cassem is Chairperson of our Programs and Evens Committee.  Andi is the force behind our upcoming 5K RUN FOR THE FUND.
Her hard work and involvement on this and other committees is fantastic!

          Rachel Egan is our Chairperson of the Public Relations Committee.All those great inserts featuring builders of our Association are as a result of having a real professional in this position. 

          These members are a testimony that the greatest benefit from joining our Association is to participate.  There are many others who are so active, and I just want to say Thank You.
